French Gilt Bronze figural clock, in the Turkish taste, formed as a Moorish maiden reclining against a tree stump, the 2.5″ engine turned silvered dial with Roman numerals. Brass twin train 8 day movement with silk suspension and outside countwheel striking on a bell. Circa 1840. Measurements : 39cm high; 29cm wide; 12cm deep.

Charles X Gilt and Patinated Bronze figural Mantle Clock of a young Maiden opening her jewellery box. Circa 1830. Signed “Petit a PARIS“ . Figure with elaborate Apollo’s knot hairstyle, typical dress and squared point shoes to one side of the 3.5” Roman dial, the twin drum movement and silk suspension with outside countwheel striking on a BELL. Measurements 44cm high; 12.5 wide; 10.5 deep.

Stamped VILLEMSRNS A’ Paris. Measurements 37cm high; 31cm wide; 11cm deep.
