A windmill in the background. The white enamel dial, with twin train movement with silk suspension. Outside count wheel with bell striking the hour and a half. The movement stamped by the Maker “Linet Aine Paris”. Circa 1840. 40cm high.

Figure with elaborate Apollo’s knot hairstyle, typical dress and squared point shoes to one side of the 3.5” Roman dial, the twin drum movement and silk suspension with outside countwheel striking on a BELL. Measurements 44cm high; 12.5 wide; 10.5 deep.

Roman dial, the twin drum movement with outside countwheel striking on a bell on the hours and half hours. Circa 1880.With a memorial trophies and motifs under the dial. The dial and the movement is signed by the maker. Louis-Constantin Detouche”.

Louis-Constantin Detouche ran the watchmaking business of his father, Georges Detouche. In 1830, he moved to 158-160 rue Saint-Martin and specialized in precision clocks, scientific instruments such as regulators , and jewelry. Having acquired land in Villemomble, he became mayor of this commune.He is buried in the old cemetery of Villemomble”.Dimensions: 47cm high x 35cm wide x 12cm deep. Weight 6 kg.
